Ayamonte
Only five minutes drive away lies the traditional Spanish fishing town of Ayamonte with its hosts of restaurants and tapas bars which serve local fish specialities and other local delicacies. Some restaurants do provide an English menu if you prefer, or sit and while away the hours in one of the outdoor cafes and bars.

There is also regular ferry crossings from Ayamonte to the town Vila Real de Santo Antonio which is in Portugal so you can do two countries in one day for 2euros! Portugal is one hour behind Spain so you get extra time. Also there are some fantasic beaches in Monte Gordo, Portugal.
